First Sunday Activities
Join us for worship this Palm/Passion Sunday as we remember the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, we will celebrate holy communion and begin to remember the Passion as we follow Jesus' steps through Holy Week. After worship join us for our All-Church Fellowship Meal (Please let the church office know if you plan to attend). Health Ministries is offering FREE blood pressure checks in the third classroom after the service.
Easter Egg Hunt
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the Kiddies and Middies at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31.
Pastor's Class
Meets Sunday Morning at 9:00 a.m. in the third classroom. On Sunday, April 1, there will be a special session. The Resurrection - we will look at the resurrection of Jesus as we compare the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Beginning April 29 we will start a new series "A Look at the History of the Bible and the Pentateuch" (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy).
Holy Week Activities
We will begin the week by celebrating Palm/Passion Sunday at our usual Sunday morning worship service followed by our first Sunday Fellowship Meal. On Thursday, April 5, we will travel to Jamestown UMC to celebrate a traditional Passover Seder Meal with our Common Cup friends. Friday, at 7:00 pm. we will gather in our sanctuary for a Good Friday service. We will celebrate Easter with a Sunrise Service at 7:30 a.m., Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and Worship again at 10:00 a.m.
Help Someone See Better
Don't forget to save your old glasses and sunglasses. You can place them in the Lion's Club collection box on the shelves outside the office or give them to Peggy Sprauer. The Lion's Club will make sure they are distributed to someone in need.
20-Days of Discovery
If you missed Commitment Sunday, we hope that you are still praying about your gift. Commitment cards can be turned in to the office any time. On Sunday, April 15, we will Celebrate the successful completion of the campaign and announce our giving totals.
