Celebrate advances in medicine and honor those infected with HIV and AIDS.

World AIDS Day – With 37 million people in the world living with AIDS, there is still a lot of work to be done, and, as United Methodists, we can play a role in working toward the eradication of this disease.

December 1st is World AIDS Day – a time to educate people about AIDS, pray for those infected and affected by HIV or AIDS, explore ways to de-stigmatize those living with AIDS and to advocate for adequate funding for AIDS programs in the United States and around the globe.

Please visit the United Methodist Global AIDS Fund (UMGAF) webpage for up-to-date resources for World AIDS Day!  You’ll find worship resources as well as other tools for commemorating this world-wide day.  AIDS is not over!  We are all called to serve as advocates for those living with HIV or AIDS and their caregivers.
